How long is the leader hose from the wall to the reel?

The leader hose is 6ft.

Can I get a longer leader hose?

If you desire a longer inlet hose, we recommend choosing the Hybrid Custom Hose 10ft.

Does this retract with water? Or do you have to drain the hose first?

It does retract with water, but it does not retract when the water pressure is high. You can turn the faucet off and open the nozzle to drain it as it retracts.

Is the nozzle replaceable?

Yes. It s a standard hose nozzle and can be replaced. If needed, please click on the link to purchase the original replacement nozzle.

What is the spacing of the mounting bolts?

The lengthways distance is 6.93in (176mm) and the widthways distance is 2.677in (68mm). From the center of the width to the center is 68mm, and from the center of the height to the center is 175.5mm.

How do I change the hose?

The leader hose can be changed, but the long hose can't.

What size mounting screws are used? I'd like to use a drop-in anchor, but I need to know the bolt size it accommodates.

The size of the bolt is M8 x 60mm, and the internal diameter of the plug is 9.8mm. The external diameter of the plug is 12mm. If you have another question, you can directly contact us.

Would this be durable if installed on the hardy plank?

Yes, it can be installed on the hardy plank.

Can you adjust the tension of the retraction mechanism?

The tension of the coil spring can't be loosened because it needs to sustain a 90ft water hose. Please DO NOT try to loosen it because this is very dangerous!
