Giraffe Tools introduces GrandFlux™ Retractable Vacuum Cleaner, a new wall-mounted garage vacuum system designed to make garage cleanup easier to start, easier to finish, and easier to repeat.
Built around a 40 ft retractable hose, GrandFlux™ brings suction and electrical power to the cleaning point through one hose. The system stays mounted in the garage while the hose extends to the vehicle, garage floor, workbench, or nearby entry space. When the job is done, SyncRetract™ returns the hose to the wall with the press of a remote.
It is a simple idea with a meaningful difference: the vacuum stays ready, while the reach, suction, and power move to the mess.
The Cleaning Problem Hiding in Every Garage
Most garage messes do not look like a major cleanup at first.
A little dirt on the driver’s floor mat. Sawdust on the workbench. Leaves near the garage door. Crumbs in the trunk. Pet hair on the cargo liner. Mud by the entryway after a rainy weekend.
The mess may be small, but the setup often is not. Pull out the vacuum. Find an outlet. Move the unit around the car. Switch tools. Coil the hose. Put everything back.
That is the everyday friction Giraffe Tools designed around. Garage cleaning should not feel like a project every time someone notices a mess.
GrandFlux™ was built to keep the system ready, reduce the steps around cleaning, and make the process feel more natural from start to finish.
What Makes GrandFlux™ Different: Suction and Power in One Hose
The biggest difference is not just that GrandFlux™ has a long hose. It is what that hose carries.
Most garage vacuums send suction to the end of the hose. GrandFlux™ sends suction and electrical power through one 40 ft retractable hose with EnduraPower™. That means compatible Giraffe Tools powered accessories can work while the vacuum is running.
Picture cleaning floor mats after a weekend road trip. Instead of switching between a brush and a vacuum, you can loosen embedded dirt and vacuum it away with a compatible powered attachment from the same hose.
Or imagine reaching under a car seat where crumbs and dust disappear into dark gaps. An LED accessory can help light the area while suction removes debris. At the workbench, a powered cleaning head can help lift dust and debris while the vacuum pulls it away.
That is where GrandFlux™ changes the experience. It helps users do more at the end of the hose, with fewer separate steps.
Pull, Clean, Retract: The Moment the Product Clicks
The GrandFlux™ routine is built around three movements: pull, clean, retract.
Pull the hose from the wall-mounted station. Clean with suction and compatible powered attachments. Press the remote and let SyncRetract™ return the hose to the wall.
That final moment is easy to underestimate until you have used a garage vacuum often. A loose hose on the floor gets in the way of tires, bikes, tool carts, cabinets, and everyday movement through the garage. Manually coiling the hose after every quick cleanup is one of those small tasks that makes people delay cleaning in the first place.
With SyncRetract™, cleanup ends cleanly. The hose returns to the station, the garage floor stays clearer, and the system is ready for next time.
Built for Three Real Cleanup Zones
GrandFlux™ was designed for the places garage mess actually lives.
The first is the vehicle. Seats, floor mats, trunks, cargo areas, and footwells are cleaned often and usually in short sessions. A wall-mounted station makes sense because the user can move around the car while the vacuum stays in place.
The second is the garage itself. Floors, corners, storage areas, and workbenches collect grit, leaves, sawdust, and DIY debris. With GrandFlux™, the heavier part of the system stays mounted while the hose reaches the work.
The third is the space just past the garage door. Entryways, mudrooms, stairs, and nearby transition areas often collect the same mess that starts outside. The 40 ft hose helps extend cleaning reach into adjacent spaces without relocating the vacuum.
Together, these zones make GrandFlux™ more than a car vacuum and more than a portable shop vac alternative. It is a garage-centered cleaning station for repeated home cleanup.
Power and Capacity for Garage-Sized Messes
Garage cleanup often takes longer than a quick indoor pass. It may involve larger debris, more surface area, wet messes, or multiple areas in one session.
GrandFlux™ runs on continuous household power and delivers up to 20 kPa suction. Its 5.2-gallon collection bin helps reduce interruptions during larger vehicle and garage jobs, while HEPA filtration supports dry debris and fine dust capture through the filtration system.
For dry vacuuming, GrandFlux™ uses the HEPA filter. For wet vacuuming, it uses the proper foam filter setup. That wet/dry flexibility helps the system handle more of the real messes that happen around vehicles, garages, and work areas.
The goal is not to replace every vacuum in the home. The goal is to give the garage a dedicated system that is ready for the size, frequency, and variety of cleanup that happens there.
A New Step in Giraffe Tools’ Retractable Vacuum Lineup
GrandFlux™ builds on Giraffe Tools’ experience with wall-mounted retractable vacuums.
Earlier Giraffe Tools retractable vacuum systems helped solve hose storage, garage organization, and fixed-station vacuuming. GrandFlux™ takes that foundation further by adding powered accessory support through EnduraPower™ and automatic hose return through SyncRetract™.
That does not make earlier products obsolete. It gives users a more advanced option when they want suction, powered cleaning capability, hose management, and station readiness in one system.
For users who want simple retractable wet/dry vacuuming with longer hose reach, Grandstorm Retractable Vacuum Cleaner Plus remains a strong fit. For users who want suction and power through one hose, GrandFlux™ opens a new level of garage cleaning workflow.
Why This Launch Matters
Garage vacuum shoppers often compare hose length, tank size, suction, attachments, and price. Those details matter, but they are only part of the decision.
The bigger question is how much effort the tool asks for before and after cleaning.
Do users want to roll a shop vac around the car? Keep a cordless vacuum charged? Store a hose by hand? Or keep a wall-mounted system ready in the garage?
GrandFlux™ gives users a new answer: a mounted, retractable garage vacuum system that sends reach, suction, and electrical power to the task, then returns neatly when the work is done.
For Giraffe Tools, this launch is also a clear continuation of the brand’s retractable design philosophy. Across hose reels, pressure washers, air hose reels, extension cord reels, and vacuum systems, the goal has remained consistent: keep tools organized, ready to use, and easier to put away.
GrandFlux™ brings that philosophy into a more capable garage cleaning system.
